I pray throughout my day---and night. Every morning, my husband and I spend 15 minutes reading Sripture and praying together. We have done this since our first day as a married couple. Then we pray at meals. But I pray in the car--when I have the silence. I pray at night when I am woken up and can't seem to get back to sleep, whcih seems to be a prompting of the Holy Spirit to be in the silent space of God's presence and listen.
My favorite way to "pray" is in my art--to allow that inner creative self to emerge onto paper or canvas. And letting my priases go up in that way, as well as concerns (which I make quilt like patterns on paper and put people's names in.
Prayer for me is a lifestyle--a constant conversation throughout hte day with my friend, God.
